White Hot Salsa

A refreshing and colorful summertime salad.

White Hot Salsa




  • 3 white peaches or nectarines, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, deveined and finely chopped (adjust amount of jalapeno as desired)
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 or more limes, about ¼ cup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dash chili powder to taste



If using a food processor, combine all ingredients except peaches/nectarines, lime juice and seasoning. Process to a fairly small size and place in a mixing or serving bowl. Chop peaches/nectarines separately and a little more coarsely. Add peaches/ nectarines to other ingredients along with lime juice and seasoning. Toss to combine. Serve with chips or over fish and poultry.
